The History of Boway Express

The Big Rigs Established in 1989, Boway Express is now one of the leading freight delivery companies servicing the BDL/Connecticut market. Co-founded by J. Robert (Bob) Martin and Walter Wanik, the company name was derived from the first names of each co-founder (Bo-Wa-y).
Each co-founder brought to the business a wealth of information and experience which enabled them to create a strong business foundation. Bob Martin was involved in the airfreight and trucking business for over 20 years, while Walt served in the management and financial fields while employed by the Stanley works. Celebrating our 19th anniversary in 2008, Boway Express, Inc., is still a family owned business focusing on providing excellent service on a personal level.
